36” x 24” Photographic Poster reprints of Reher-Morrison’s 1990 Pro Stock Beretta
Lost in storage for over 20 years, and recently rediscovered, these beautiful posters are now available in a limited quantity.
Internationally famous photographer, Graham Hobart, was originally commissioned to produce this stunning photograph. Unlike other posters of the day, which were generally artistic drawings or renderings, this image was produced from actual photographs of the original race car.
Mr. Hobart took numerous detailed photographs of the actual race car’s components. He started with the body removed and took photos of the chassis and wheels. Next he took photos of the crank, rods, and pistons, suspended in mid-air. Then the complete engine less cylinder heads and intake manifold were photographed. Later the complete engine was added, along with the transmission and drive train. He continued this process adding the bodywork, with the car always located in the same position and the camera anchored in one spot.
As this was still the age of film photography (pre-digital), he took all the photographs back to his lab and proceeded to spend several days assembling the pictures, layer upon layer, to produce this stunningly unique image.
Just in time for Christmas and suitable for framing, these are the last remaining prints of the original 1990 printing of these posters. Produced on high quality, heavy gauge poster paper, these reprints are shipped in a sturdy mailing tube to insure they are received in good condition.
There is only a limited quantity available, and when they are gone, they will be gone forever!
